It's not right around the corner from the Underground stop like it looks on the map, and there are several Victoria Stations, some with trains, some with busses, some with both. One thing to note, it is very difficult to find the bus depot. It was too foggy to see the White Cliffs of Dover but that's no one's fault Leeds Castle is beautiful and we needed more time Caterbury was amazing too. Again, a lot of driving but a little more time at the sites. The second was a tour to Leeds Castle, White Cliffs of Dover, and Canterbury. Warwick Castle is a bit touristy it was neat to see the room where Shakespere was born Oxford was interesting but nothing exciting. It involved more driving than seeing the sites. The first tour I took was to Warwick Castle, Stratford-on-Avon (where Shakespere was born and died), and Oxford. I think all of these tours have the same issues - but the guide makes a huge difference. Our tour guide was Phil (in the bowler hat and 3 piece suit) and he was a great guide and gave us a great coverage of the history and neat little facts as well. They do threaten to leave you behind if you're not to the bus on time - but I think thats fair as the other passengers are held up if you're late. After Bath you return back to the city for about 7pm. We had some extra time here so after the baths we were able to walk around the streets before returning to the bus. After that we went to the town of Bath, which is a really neat town, and we went into the Roman Baths. You have 45 minutes at Stonehenge which is plenty of time. After Windsor we drove to Stonehenge (some tours reverse Stonehenge and bath, which would be more ideal as you would get to Stonehenge by sunset). I found the hour at Windsor was enough time, but if you spend a lot of time at sights like this you should perhaps look into seeing it separately and finding a tour of just Stonehenge and bath. You also need to take some of that time off to get something to eat in Windsor. You're given about 1 1/4 hours to see Windsor Castle - they say longer but you spend a lot of time in the queue and security. So I can appreciate that it was quite rushed to see all of those sights in one day. And London has strict laws on how long a bus driver can drive. Getting from London to Bath is 2 1/4 hours alone, with no traffic. BUT, you also have to respect that it is a FAR distance to travel and 3 huge sights to see. I can agree with the majority of these reviews that indicate the tour was too rushed. I thought this only happened in Asia! So, be careful and look around before you buy. Seems like the tourguide was in cahoots with the shop owners for some kickbacks. I followed the tour guide into the cafe (and of course was forced to buy something to eat/drink) and then noticed later that the souvenir shop has prices more expensive than other competitors on the same street. One of them is a bakery/cafe and said this is a good place to use the washrooms and then pointed to the souvenir shop and said this place has good prices and will offer discounts to Evan Evans tour customers. At the end of the tour, he stops in front of 2 shops. The guide takes us on a walking tour around the university. Along the way, the bus drives past Ascot. You cannot get to touch the bluestone circles. Eton was about a 15 min walk from the castle. We chose to walk around the town and walk to Eton College instead. We did not go into the castle, but others in our group did. The second bus was the bus that took us on our daytour. The bus then ended up at Victoria Coach stn where we were asked to leave this bus and go to another bus. We were picked up at 8:10am at the Millenium Hotel by Gloucester Road tube station by bus.
